
Here at Unirox, we are proud to support champions who push boundaries and chase their dreams— two of whom are Manju Shah and Kajal Roy. These two young cyclists from West Bengal who have participated in the 43rd West Bengal State Cycling Championship with the AeRoad, were awarded the Silver and Bronze respectively. They both are a part of the NGO Future Hope and are also great friends – beyond just cycling partners. Despite their humble beginings, both Manju and Kajal have ridden their way into the state’s history books, inspiring others with the same determination, courage and love for cycling.
Manju Shah : Riding with Passion and Purpose

Manju Shah is not just a cyclist – she is a powerhouse of talent and ambition. She is a national-level cyclist and rugby player – proving her mettle across multiple sports arenas at just 18.
Key Achievements :
– Silver Medalist at the 43rd West Bengal State Cycling Campionship (2024)
– Khelo India Cycling Championship Medalist
– Completed 600km endurance ride from Kolkata to Saraswatipur.
– Completed a remarkable endurance ride from Kolkata to Jharkhand with Kajal and fellow cyclists.
Kajal Roy: Determined, Driven and Fearless

Kajal Roy’s journey into the world of competitive cyclist is equally inspiring. Her achevements at a young age of 15 reflects a relentless drive and a clear commitment to her sport while also practicing martial arts.
Key Achievements :
– Bronze Medalist at the 43rd West Bengal State Cycling Championship (2024)
– Completed a remarkable Endurance Ride from Kolkata to Jharkhand with Manju and fellow cyclists.
The Duo: A bond beyond races

Manju and Kajal not only ride with passion for cyclsing but also share a very strong friendship built through their mutual love for cycling. They often train together and also do Endurance rides– Especially the ambitious Kolkata to Jharkhand route which must have been a milestone in their journey together, proving their mettle far beyond the podium.
They have also participated in national level platforms like the Khelo India Women’s League which reflects how young female cyclists from India’s grassroots are reaching the big leagues and eventually into the spotlight.
